Mr. Stastny is a Managing Director of GKM Ventures. Mr. Stastny is the founding General Parnter for Osprey Ventures, a $93 million venture fund focused on expansion stage IT investments in the busines and consumer technology sectors. Osprey Venture’s successful investments include: Cyber Gold, Panopticon, Lara Networks, BlueStar Solutions and USI/AppShop. Osprey currently has active investments in twelve portfolio companies. Previously, David spent ten years as a senior investment banker. He was a Managing Director of Soundview Technology Group, Oppenheimer & Company and Robertson Stephens & Co. During the course of his investment banking career, David was involved in numerous corporate finance, merger and acquisition, private placement and restructuring transactions across all technology sectors. Earlier in his career, David co-founded and operated two successful technology start-up companies, Data Voice Solutions Corporation (DVSC) and Netwise, Inc., and was an operating manager with ROLM/IBM Corporation.

Mr. Gerard is a Managing Director of GKM Ventures. He also is Vice Chairman, Head of U.S. Equities for Harris Nesbitt and was Co-founder and Chairman/CEO of its predecessor firm, Gerard Klauer Mattison. Harris Nesbitt, Inc. is a member of BMO Financial Group and an affiliate in its Investment Banking Group. Previously, Mr. Gerard was Co-Chief Operating Officer at Warner Communications, where he actively was involved in the purchase of Atari and the investment in Hasbro. Prior to that, Mr. Gerard was an entertainment research analyst on Wall Street. Mr. Gerard received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University and his M.B.A. from Harvard University. Currently, he is a director for helloNetwork, EWMC International, and Harmonix Music Systems. |

John M. Morris is a Managing Director of GKM Ventures.
Mr. Morris is the immediate past Chairman of the Tech Coast Angels, the largest angel investor organization in the country investing in startups and early-stage companies. John is also the past president and a co-founder of TCA’s Los Angeles network. John is also the President of the Western Region’s Association of Small Business Investment Companies.
His venture capital career commenced when he joined First Interstate Venture Capital Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of First Interstate Bank, as a principal. FIVC invested in later stage technology companies and in management buyouts. John also has previous investment banking experience with Sutro & Co., Wedbush Morgan Securities and NewCap Partners.
Previously, John spent approximately ten years in operating and financial management roles for two public companies. John began his business career in Los Angeles with Arthur Young & Co. (now Ernst & Young) after receiving his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles.
During his career in venture capital, John has been a director for a number of private and public companies. He presently is the co-chair of Entretech and a director for the Los Angeles Venture Association. He is a co-founder and past president of the Forum for Corporate Directors in Orange county. Currently John is a director for Syntricity, Accordent Technologies, BrightQube and a board observer for Sodahead. John is a frequent panel speaker on venture capital and angel investing. Finally, John is a faculty advisor in the Global Access Program at UCLA’s Anderson Business School.
John and his wife Teddi live in Pacific Palisades. He enjoys golf, scuba diving, adventure travel and digital photography.

Mr. Bloch is a Managing Director of GKM Ventures. Mr. Bloch previously was Managing Director of the Technology Group at Chanin Capital Partners where he specialized in corporate finance and principal investing. He led various early-stage and pre-IPO technology related investments including Software.com, now Openwave Systems (NASDAQ:OPWV). Jonathan is a former Partner in the law firm of Wyman, Bautzer, Rothman, Kuchel & Silbert. He received his BA degree from the University of California at Berkeley and his JD. from the University of San Diego School of Law. Presently, he is a director for TransDimension, Inc., Advanced Data Exchange, Ascendant Solutions, Inc., Santa Monica Amusements LLC, Silicon Bandwidth (observer status) and a member of the Board of Governors of Cedars-Sinai Hospital. |
