SYNTRICITY dataCONDUCTOREP™ 5.0 SOFTWARE SELECTED BY MICROSEMI FOR SEMICONDUCTOR ENTERPRISE YIELD MANAGEMENT
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA, NOVEMBER 29, 2005 – Syntricity Inc. announced that Microsemi Corporation has signed a three-year license agreement for Syntricity’s dataConductorEP 5.0 semiconductor enterprise yield management (EYM) software suite. The agreement includes access to dataConductorEP’s Advanced Monitoring for Production (AMP™) application and Power User analysis tools through dataConductor.com™, the Internet-hosted version of dataConductorEP. Microsemi of Irvine, Calif., is a world leader in the design and manufacture of high performance analog and high reliability semiconductor solutions.
Microsemi will use dataConductorEP as its primary means for warehousing, analyzing and reporting yield information, thereby enhancing vendor management capabilities and adding visibility for new product introductions. The AMP application provides enterprise-wide yield monitoring and reporting for executives and engineers through automated, interactive reports that offer both broad, high-level overviews, as well as detailed results of wafer acceptance testing, wafer sort and final test operations. The AMP application links directly to dataConductorEP’s Power User tools, enabling users to drill-through automated reports to perform detailed root cause analysis to learn more about their yields.
