GKM Ventures closed an expansion financing round with Syntricity, a leading Enterprise Yield Management (EYM) software solutions provider to the semiconductor industry. GKM Ventures participated with current investors led by Windward Ventures. Syntricity’s software allows fabless semiconductor manufacturers to collect data from diverse manufacturing locations and combine them into a single data warehouse to manage yields from early product design to volume production. Using the software, customers have reduced their costs of characterization yield analysis by 75% and time to yield by 33%, and realized yield improvements of 1-10% across their product lines, saving millions of dollars each year through dynamic production yield management.
